On 29 April 2024, focus groups were held in Burgos, Spain, involving young people with intellectual disabilities and autism as part of the OPEN4ALL project.
During the sessions, participants shared their experiences, challenges and needs related to accessibility in communication. They reflected on the barriers they face in daily interactions, as well as the opportunities and supports that can help improve their participation and autonomy.

These focus groups provide valuable first-hand insights that will contribute to the development of more accessible communication tools and strategies within the project, ensuring that the voices of people with disabilities are central to the design of inclusive solutions.
